Over the years I've seen more than a few single shots that looks like the very end of the muzzle had been swaged just a tiny bit, but some (most) muzzles are perfectly square .

At first thought a previous owner had hammered it down to tighten up the choke some but I've never seen any hammer marks.

Now kind of curious if its something that had been done during manufacturing since thers no evidence of damage to barrel or bluing.


Anyone ever notice or have any insight on this ???
