It fought hard, we had to put 2 arrows in it, we usually do when there that big just in case an arrow pulls out

Got another nice one this morning, we just started bow fishing this year and we are having a blast, the buffalo I shot earlier this week is a lot darker why is this one so orange looking? Sorry if its a dumb question but were are still pretty green, and want to learn more about the sport.

Its not a dumb question, the only dumb questions are ones never asked!! The fish in above pic is a common carp. The first fish you posted pic is a buffalo. I would'nt begin to give a size estimate on fish in pictures, because pictures can be deceiving. Not saying its not big, it is, for me its just hard to tell without seeing them in person. The buffalo are native to TN waters, the common carp is NOT!!!
Bowfishing is pretty much the only kind of fishing I do!!! if you think its fun in the daylight, you need to get some lights rigged up and do it at night!! Fish are a lot less spooky! Your hooked now, I've been doing it for the last 20 years and each year, it seems like its gets more popular.

Thanks for the info, we are definitely hooked and I'm sure we will be trolling around on a nice rig in the future doing some night fishing! Since I've started bow fishing the fishing poles are gathering dust there just not as fun as they used to be, this may be the only fishing I do anymore also.
