Wanting to get a 7'6". 4wt. I am leaning towards a J.P. Ross Beaver Meadow ( problem is can't try one out first). Are there any others I should look into.

If you are looking into the custom rods, JP Ross is good stuff. I am pretty sure Sage makes a 4wt LL, but it is an 8'6". I have a 5wt LL that is incredible. Graywolf is another really nice custom glass rodmaker.

If you're interested in the fiberglass route, the Epic rods are nice. I've got a 7'6 4 weight packlight that I built as a kit. It was actually really easy to do and saved me several hundred dollars. I bought it mainly for fishing small warmeater streams and bluegills from a paddleboard. It can handle some big fish too. If you're interested, I'm in Columbia, so it would be easy to get it to you and you could use it for awhile.

NSO- Greywolf does have some good looking rods.
Buzzard Breath- thanks for the offer.
I'm actually looking at the carbon beaver Meadow, something with a faster action ( probably just something I'm messing up on but I seem to mis a lot of fish with my glass rod) and this gives me an excuse to add another rod to the arsenal.
