Shooting sticks.

What kind of shooting sticks yall use when predator hunting? I ordered a caldwell pivioting 13 1/2 by 27inch bipod for my AR and a harris bipod adapter for it,but it doesn't want to fit on the adapter right without some modifications,so I put it on my 17hmr and like it so much on it,im leaving it,and just gonna get me a set of shooting sticks for my AR. So whats a good kind that isn't expensive,I was looking at these real hard.Or does someone have any ideas for some homemade sticks?

Yeah I use a variation of the VarmintAl sticks. I made a small metal bracket at the hinge point, added a third leg and it makes into a fast setup tripod. The 3rd leg is made of a lightweight sourwood sprout. My boys use the same setup for deer also. PH
