I tell 'ya, that Brian Murphy fellow really gets around. :)

But does anyone, other than the lady from Illinois suggesting it, really believe introducing more coyotes would be a good idea for deer control in a suburban area? Even implying that financial costs aren't part of the equation?

Murphy's Law prevails.

And to quote ALICE HENRY WHITMORE:

I think that deer are beautiful. Its a good thing I do, since they have completely taken over our property.

But I think that pheasants and quail are pretty cute, too. Since the deer have been stripping away everything edible within reach, there is no understory and therefore no place for these smaller animals to live. I dont know about others, but I really miss hearing the bobwhite.

I find it funny that she thinks introducing predators, that tear their prey apart, many times still alive, is so much more humane than shooting a deer.

All of mine have been dead within a few seconds of being shot. I would take that any day over being torn apart alive. I bet Kim Jong-Un's uncle would have preferred the choice as well.

i would much rather be shot than eaten bite by bite.
