Shoot through MESH??

If I am shooting my Grimm Reapers, I pre-open the blades.
Only way to shoot through mesh straight.
 
I use fixed blade Slick Tricks through the mesh . I don't see the logic behind shooting mechanicals and opening the blades first . That would affect arrow flight in a way that reduces the advantages of a closed mechanical broadhead .
 
i have not shot through mesh but bought me a new blind it has it just seems like it would mess you up I guess I need to try it out but I usually bow hunt out of my stand so didn't want to shoot the windows all up lol

simple test... I did it myself cause I had the same questions.... Set it up in the back yard.... try it out... then you will know for sure whether it will affect your setup...
Might find it has very little out to a certain distance and then maybe not..

I shoot fixed blades through mesh also.
But if you do use mech,. open them first.

They might fly horrible? A 2" 2 blade rage will certainly fly different than it closed or a fixed blade! Any will fly diff!
 
To quote Larry the Cable Guy, opening a mechanical before you shoot it is "kinda like wiping before you poop. It just don't make sense."
