Shimano Symetre FJ 1000

Anybody use these,I can get one for a descent price but would like some first hand experience from some one before I buy it.

I've got a Symmetre 4000 that I use for stripers and catfish. Best spinning reel I have ever owned.

I got the reel for my 13th birthday so it is now 10 years old. I have caught everything from redfish-stripers on it. That to me is worth the $100 it costs.

I guess everyone has an opinion, and if it has shimano on it I would not buy it.
