Every year around mid July I expect to see bucks begin trickling up into the hills. I suspect it's because when their antlers get big enough to snag on brush they move into big woods. Then from Labor Day through September (harvest season) it really ramps up. This year the early trickle seems to be full stream! And it's a welcome sight too since last year was rough in terms of buck numbers. I wasn't expecting much this season either but now seeing a healthy influx of bucks starting in I'm getting excited!

It is indeed very cool to watch. We just put out cameras a week ago. I did see a bachelor group of 4 in our beans and I know one was a good one. It at 360 yards with no glass, so couldn't tell much 🤣. But we put a camera out there to learn more

My mineral cams in Ohio have gone dark. I am assuming they are moving down tight to the crops.
