I was posting what Ive ssen driving to and from Arlington from Bartlett over the last couple of days. Yesterday afternoon I say a small buck following close behind a doe and he was breathing so hard I thought he was going to pass out. Today at 3 45 I drove by what I call the honey hole, and saw the biggest buck Ive seen all year. He was standing there looking around and all the sudden a doe popped up out of no where. I guess he was standing over her, couldnt really figure it out. This deer had not a care in the world. Glassed him to look at his rack and it was a very nice 12pt. Who gets to hunt these places? Id give anything to hunt these woods. Definate rut activity in Shelby County.
 
Sounds good, I am goin to be hunting tomorrow through the weekend, some in fayette and some around tipton/shelby line. I hope its heatin up somewhere!
 
Where's the Honey Hole? I drive that area occasionally and wouldn't mind doing a drive-by for a look. I also drive the area from Arlington to Canadaville, ton of deer in that area.
 
Big Al, canada rd and memphis arlington. Powerline by the pond.
The one that leads to the church. Pull in church parking lot and they are also behind the church late afternoon.
