I know it may still be a bit early, but when do antlers usually drop in West TN? This will be the first year I'll actually be looking for sheds, and was just wondering when I should get out there and start looking.

Some drop as early as around January first but the majority will start dropping over the next few weeks IMO

Hickman - didn't find any in any of our fields today. Usually find 3-4 a year. Though, my cousin found some squirrel hunting a couple weeks ago on a different property, same county

I found one side of a small 6 point in Hickman County yesterday.

Davidson county here- just went out this week cuz I got a trail cam pic of a buck who lost one side. I found one small 8 point shed and then bumped three more bucks who were all still holding both sides! So seems like majority have not quite shed yet.

In Shelby and Fayette (at least the areas I hunt), many bucks will still be holding antlers into April. I have seen a couple in person and on camera still holding the first week of May.
