How much longer does deer season run? Hopefully he will slide by since he's missing a side now. Should be a fully nocturnal dandy next year.

Jan 4th. Those 2 are safe where they are. I was hoping to have this deer on cam. Still got 5 more cams there to pull so hopefully he'll be on one.

It's normal for that area. Rarely see one in Feb with any. Buddy has land on the backside with good groceries and he had 2 shed bucks by Dec 21. Go 30 miles any way and not unusual to see them carrying into almost April tho most drop by March.

Peak rut there is around Nov 10. Around my house 30 minutes from there they don't get to cranking till after Thanksgiving. They stocked deer from Wisconsin and Michigan there that's why we've always figured they rut and shed earlier there
