At 5 this afternoon I had a young doe come trotting in to my right. She was on the move but not a full out run. She looped around and came within 15yds of my stand and just stood there for over 10 minutes looking back at where she had came. I noticed in the time that her whole body was shivering like something scared the heck out of her. Her jaw was rattling like you would if you were freezing cold. Finally she laid down until I got down. The whole time she was laying she was on alert looking around and I could see her shaking but not as bad as before. Thunderstorms had been rolling in but never hit that property until right at dark. I've just never witnessed a deer shiver and shaky like it had just seen a ghost. Nothing else ever showed up. I thought maybe being run by a buck or predator. Anyone else seen this kind of behavior?
