Big doe and two big babies comes by at 23 yahds. I am easing the bow off the hook and the arrow hits the end of the hook and goes "Brahht". The deer go somewhere else.

"Well," says I, "isn't this a fine kettle of crabs?" So I sit quietly and think of Donna Ray my love of the ninth grade. Well, a couple weeks of it, anyway.

And wouldn't you know Seven-Oh-18, along comes big momma by her ownself. I range her with my good eye cause I forgot my glasses then, ease out my Nikon, honest a farrier, range finder and lay that on her. 62-yahds, it says.

"Okay," says I, "if she turns left at the big log, she will come by me at 27-yahds. N I can do that." And sure enough, she keeps going straight goes somewhere else.

Then, at exactly seven-forty-nothing here they come. A herd, must be over a dozen. I stand up, ease my bow off the hook and get ready...

To climb down cause my deer won't sociate with cows. So, I took me a little reconoiter and then, come right on home.

And here I is. And they is so many acorns nuts it is like walking on marbles.

That was just like my experience 2 days ago. cows and goats.

Goats are quite good to eat if they are the meat or hair goats. I never ate a milking goat. Does that bring a picture to mind. A big goat sitting on a three-legged stool, milking a cow.

That would be a milking goat.

And...dam be he who first cries hold.

I wouldn't kill a milking goat cause then I wouldn't get any goat cheese.... mmm.... lol

I have had a few bites of goat meat one time, all I remember is that it was very good meat, maybe a little tough. Makes sense that a goat would taste good when you look at other animals it is related to...
