Serious Question

For all you anglers who have fished J. Percy Priest for at least 20-years: Do you like the present size limits on bass? If so, why or why not.

This is a serious question and I would appreciate input from the ones who have fished Priest for an extended length of time, at least 20-years.

I'm too fond of fighting smallies to want to eat one, but that's my weird personal preference, so let's talk largemouth.

It seems to me that it's a little backwards. I would like to eat the smaller fish and protect the bigger ones.

Eat the 12 to 14-inchers till you're fat. Throw the 20-inchers back so we can catch them over again and they can spawn.

Admittedly, I'm a back seat driver on this one. You asked for experience and knowledge, and I ain't got much of either.

I'd agree with Gil. Catch way too many small bass and not enough big ones on priest. I've only fished it for the last 3 years though
