would someone mind explaining the quality, performance and physical differences between a sendero and just a common 700?? thanks...

If memory serves me right they changed the rifling tooling with each rifle, thus the enhanced accuracy

They also have a bull barrel verses a straight 700
some had adj. triggers before the 700
Stocks are usually built different

easy to tell a lot of differences when you have them side by side

Longer barrels, nearly all are fluted, I think the barrels are lapped. My BIL bought one in 7mag that was a real tack driver.

The stocks on them were aluminum bedded to free float the barrel. Barrels were non fluted the first few yrs of them...they are 26" heavy barrels. HEAVY rascals...very end heavy. Shoot best off the bench. So they started shaving the weight off...thus the fluted barrels for the remainder of the Sendero and Sendero II's life spans.

ALL of them were/are tack drivers out of the box. No mods needed.
