Seen a Tom breed a hen today

I seen a tom breed a hen today 6-24-08.

I think I read somewhere that if a nest is destroyed, some hens will breed again and have a second hatch. Some very young turkeys have been seen as late as September.

that is odd. I have two hens that stay in the yard. What is odd is they don't have any poults.
