Yes a very small water source.

Yep, he is on the lookout. These two bucks look very alert at the time of camera trigger.

I am learning about the camera game.....this is my first year to run them. It's all brand new to me. You are right about his posture. In the other pictures of this deer....he is hyper alert and in other pics looking right at the camera. I don't think he liked it as he didn't come back. Also, the reason I set the camera was the heavy sign in the immediate area and the sign was more stale when I went in to check the camera. Next time I check that camera will be interesting to see if he or other deer came back. Part of the alert posture of the buck in the rear could also be that I have gotten pics of a bobcat and coyote on that camera as well.
