When do you start garden seeds? Tomatoes, peppers ,squash,
the tomatoes and some peppers you can plant later and have smaller seedlings to put in the ground no problem. but some hot peppers take longer to germinate and grow slower, so I like a good head start on them. Bhut Jolokia need lots of time, I don't usually get ripe fruit till SeptemberWobblyshot1 said:What catman said is fine but I like to start mine a couple of weeks later....6 to 8 weeks before planting with both peppers and tomatoes. I've been burnt more than once by late cold spells.
