Food Plots Seed and Fertilizer prices?

Are seed and fertilizer prices up this year like everything else? Please share what you have seen recently, 13-13-13, wheat, oats, grain rye, etc. Thanks

The only thing I can vouch for is wheat and crimson clover. It's all I've been able to get thus far

Wheat - $13.95 / 50 lb bag
Crimson - $68 / 50 lb bag

Yes...fertilizer is up 20-40%. Seed is up. Chemicals are up and many are limited. Glyphosate was $34 per 2.5 gallon. Now its $54.
Liberty was $99, if you can find it $150.

I paid the same for glysophate concentrate that I've been paying for 5+ years ($49 for 2.5 gallons). Seed prices about the same; some up a little, some down a little.

I am still paying $35.00 for a 2.5 gallon gly 4.
Waiting on price on a 30 gallon bulk container.
Nutrien Ag Products said 2022 might be worse.

Haven't purchased the seed listed but have called about prices...plan to purchase the blend today....buddy of mine had to order his radish....they were not available locally.

Hadn't purchased bagged fertilizer this year but last year we rented the buggy and purchased fertilizer and pelletized lime together to try and keep cost down...don't remember the per pound cost? But I do remember it was exspensive to follow the soil test results.

I paid about $19 with tax per 50lb bag for my 19-19-19 fertilizer at the CO-OP. I have noticed that the gly that I normally use has went up from 39 to 67 this year. I haven't bought wheat and rye yet.

Although seed prices might be up a little from last year, I remember when Buckwheat was priced like gold, and Crimson Clover was through the roof as well a few years back.

The place I get my seed does the blending for most of southern CO-OPs, buck on bag companies, etc....When I dropped off my seed order the other day they said clover was up 10-15% and cereal grain steady. They can't get Frosty or Fixation clover from Oregon as had 20k pounds ordered for months. My luck as I like Fixation in my annual blend ...I did pick up 400lbs of their grain & crimson mix for spur of moment use yesterday before rain & it was $19.00 a bag(50#). Also got some brassica mix & it's about $4.00/lb.
They did give me a heads-up about herbicide for next year. Lots of chemicals come from China so you know the rest of story...

Update: Just bought a 50 lb bag of forage rape from the Franklin Co-op for $75. So, that's $1.50/lb - that's not bad, but it is still $0.50/lb more expensive than what I got it for last year.

seed stores are being told most clover seed comes from Oregon and a bad drought has caused a severe shortage of clover seed in Oregon. As liberal as Oregon has become, I bet the draught didn't affect the marijuana crop.

Agreed. I got my crimson about 3 weeks ago and that's where mine came from.
