Alabama gets the WIN against Auburn in round 1. Now they play South Carolina in round 2 tomorrow. They just dropped a series to them in the regular season.
Georgia beat Kentucky and Ole Miss beat Missouri.
 
Maybe tn fans can latch on to softball and launch about 20 threads on this so they can have hope onto SOMETHING since baseball ,football and basketball does NOT seem to be their thing LOL
 
TN fan and I have followed softball for a long time. Every season -- so its not a "latch on to" PDB. I figured the aub/al game would be close. Just 1 blow out yesterday GA against ky. 4 games today starting at 11. Top 4 seeds start play THU. against todays winners.

It should be some good games today.
Georgia is playing at home and could knock out Arkansas. I hope Ole Miss wins but I don't think they'll beat Florida.
South Carolina just won a series against Alabama. I hope they can get some revenge tonight. RTR! 🐘

Alot of change in softball. There are still some slappers, but nowhere near what it was. Players are really athletic and built that way. Pitching has advanced in speed to mid60s to low 70s is about standard - some 74 plus across the league Pickens is the cream of the crop speed wise. Offense and defense both have progressed. Pretty fast speed of play.

Good games yesterday (Im laid up with knee injury had mri yesterday morning so got to see them all). Ole miss has surprised me. FL could not adjust to the change up at 50 odd mph. Good games today starting at 11am top 4 seeds join the fray. TN plays ARK in 2nd game of the day.

Some of us have daughters, sisters, mothers, wives, etc. so we don't view women as second class citizens. I don't feel like my daughter's sports were any less important than my son's. You might be surprised to hear they actually allow women out of the kitchen now. Some even vote in elections! What is the world coming to???
 
I played men's fastpitch softball in the 80's up into the early 90's. Yep, hard to hit a softball traveling at those speeds and curving in all directions. Just don't see it as something to show on tv. Has nothing to do with male vs. female. Then again, they show cornhole tournaments on tv.

When you said, "women's softball? Nope." I thought that's what you were saying.

As far as whether it should or shouldn't be on TV, I guess that's up to the networks, advertisers, and viewers. As someone with a daughter, I think it's great that women's sports are getting more and more exposure. Believe it or not, I know some people that actually prefer watching college softball over college baseball. I enjoy watching Tennessee in both sports equally. I also enjoy watching Lady Vols basketball as well as the men's basketball.

I am that person for sure. I used to could watch college baseball or MLB all day. The last 7 or 8 years I can't hardly stand to watch it for some reason. Have nothing against it but just boring to me now. I'll catch a little of the CWS and MLB playoffs. But I really enjoy watching college softball.
 
OK walk off homer to win, Ark had the lead the whole game too. TAM SPANKED tex - OK vs TAM in the championship. Pulling for anyone but OK. (stubhub ticket prices 37-164 general admission)

Softvols - 1 and done on THU. ARK took them out.
