UF seems to always have a good defense and I guess playing backyard pitch and catch against basically no one in the UK game can boost your Offensive numbers a little.

I was thinking the same thing.

TN left 1/2 the play book out against Appy state and it nearly cost them.

It wasn't because UT wanted to go to overtime?? The reason that they had to leave half the play book out was because the OL couldn't block Appy St. A little scary when you consider Appy St. Avg. 250 lbs. across the DL. UT had to get the plays off fast because the rush and that limits the playbook on deep plays and misdirection plays. UT had to do the same with V. Tech. If the line can't block, the playbook is limited. Right now UT is pretty much an option offense with a running qb that can throw bubble screens.

Playing vanlia or only showing half the play book is a myth that fans like to talk about. Teams/coaches would rather open it up and put more on film to make their opponent work harder... :)

Lets use the UF game last year for example. The throwback to Dobbs that went for a TD. I had never seen them run that play. I'm guessing McCheddar hadnt either because UF gave up a TD on it. Now, with it on film, do you think TN will try to run that play again? Doubt it. If it had been on film as a play that they could possibly run and McC prepares for it, would Tn have scored on it. Possibly but it would have been a little tougher knowing UF was more than likely prepared for it. Element of surprise and all.

You will see things in that 4 game stretch beginning with UF that hasn't been seen yet. Garauntee it.

UT needed gimmick plays to compete with UF last year. We agree on that... :)

Sure. Whatever. It was a play that resulted in a TD. We agree on that....

UF needed a roided up QB to even resemble an offense with a game plan last year. After the Roid Hulk got caught they looked like death warmed over with the reefer monster in there.

Gimmick plays VS. Roided up QB.

good match up lol

yes Florida has looked good this year..... Against two very very very weak teams, but good for them. They play there hardest match up of the year so far this Saturday...North Texas

Vols have had it pretty easy also , and not looked so good I do think App st. and VaTech, trump the heck outta anyone Florida has seen through the first 3 weeks of there season.

both will be 3-0 going into the head to head match up. It don't really matter what the teams looked like against a few cupcakes, and VaTech to start the year as long as they got the W's Now they need W's against good teams.

heard Vegas say UT was a 9 1/2 point favorite for the Florida game going into week 3. I know that # will come down, but interesting.
