We had a good season in the heart of CWD country with my wife and I killing 3 deer and helping a friends daughter kill her biggest. I started us off by taking this 4.5 year old 8 point in November 27th as he followed a doe at 210 yards.
Then, on December 11th I missed a 5.5 year old buck but 20 minutes later killed this doe at 50 yards.
We were then honored to get to take a friend and his daughter to try to get her on a decent buck and on the last evening of 2019 this 4.5 year old unique buck popped out at 70 yards and she made a perfect shot.
My wife finally was able to connect on January 2nd making a perfect shot at 315 yards to take this 4.5 year old 7 point.
Finishing out the season I took advantage of our week long private lands hunt on January 7th to take one more doe for the freezer on a friends farm.
All the deer were tested with only the girl's buck coming back positive for CWD.
