Food Plots Screening Trees? Where to get

I want to get some Virginia Pines to act as a visual barrier between a food plot that sits at the dead end of a residential street. These seem to be available starting this Fall, but would like something to get going now when I put this plot in. Purpose to block the view of drivers of the plot, and afford deer some security while on the plot.
Where can I get Virginia Pine now (as recommended by USDA and forester) or another type of plant that can grow quickly and high. Need to cover about a 30' wide area.
Open to ideas.

I seen on a Tv show some guys planting some type of grass that grows 10-12 ft tall but it takes a couple of years for it to get that way.

Have you checked with TN Division of Forestry to see what they have at the nursery?

Edit: just checked TDFs website, and they have them. $51/500.

Rstodd, that's probably miscanthus, an extremely invasive and fast spreading grass. It's all the rage right now, but I wouldn't turn it loose on my property for love or money. Switchgrass would give you the screening you want as well.

That is what I am leaning to. Combine with the pines, which will take longer to get to full size.

I get a news letter from a nursery in Nashville (Bate's) and they said there is no temps over 90 in the forecast. He said it was like October weather, and no reason to not do some planting.

I don't plant unless trees are dormant. Moisture will be a big factor too, and august-October can turn dry at the drop of a hat.

Murray cypress are great. The nursery on hwy 96 in Franklin had them .
