I just spent all day Sunday taking the handicap blind to Scott County, Tennessee and set it up on 800 acres of land that Tom Reece owns and has allowed us to do this hunt. I will be taking a veteran from Bryson City, N.C. who is 74 years of age and confined to a wheelchair. He served in the Vietnam war. I will also be taking a young man who was wounded in Iraq. This hunt will take place on December 1st and 2nd.
This is the FREE HANDICAP HUNTS that I have been posting information about on the forum website. I am buying the license ($170.00) for out of state, furnishing the food and lodging, however this is a very small amount to give these guys who have served and sacrificed for us and our country. All I want to see is a smile on their face knowing that we really care for what they have done.
I do have a youth hunt scheduled in January in Sevier County, Tennessee for a child who is confined to a wheelchair.
I do need your help with these hunts. I am using the individual sales of the instruction manual and DVD to help fund these hunts along with any donations. Quality Pools of Knoxville (TRAILWATCHER) has made a donation to help me with the hunts Dec. 1st and 2nd.
I am asking my hunter friends to purchase my manual and DVD to help me with these hunts. My goal is to build more of these blinds and have them in locations, wherever it may be, to be used for these hunts to take place.
This project can be used for different things such as a child�s playhouse, storage building or just a family project that is a great learning experience in carpentry. It makes a good Christmas present for the deer hunter. Click on my ad at the top of the forum page and order today.
I am attaching some pictures of the blind set-up in the location for the hunt this weekend. I will be filming this hunt and after it is edited I will be placing it on the website.
