After dropping the boys off at school I went on over to a place where I have seen and shot at coyotes before. Sat on a dozer pile for about 40 minutes then began calling with a Knight&Hale predator call. A coyote came running in and stopped at about 150 yards trying to locate the dying rabbit. I was using a .223 Stevens 200 and a Speer TNT bullet over 748. At the shot it started a yowling spin and went down. I have killed several while deer hunting and basically ambushing them along travel ways. This was the first one that I have called in and killed. I will try to add an image but the photobucket stuff is intimidating.
