Somewhere in the 140s would be my guess when he finishes. Looks pretty developed but definitely still a little room to grow. His brows, beams, and spread will help out with only having 8 points
I'm thinking 123-126
What about the left side?
Beauty of a buck, just gonna look smaller after velvet. Nice spread

135-140 but I could be off at that angle.
I think he'll climb out of the 120s but doubt he'll get into the 140s. A lot depends on how skinny the rack is after velvet is gone. He's a really big 8pt. Hope you get a chance!

I'd guess low to mid 130's once the horns are hard....
Lol I'm kidding man my original guess was 120s-30s. I tried putting a video up but had trouble.

Hard to tell at that angle. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot it. And would be ecstatic to do so. But I'm not about to guess on inches. I also don't have any kind of managed place to hunt. So you get my drift.

A 140-150 deer is a BIG deer in TN

130s easy.....long main beams....super brows....wide....very nice buck.
In velvet he'll make P/Y with a bow probably!
And pics are about impossible to judge antler size.
My son had MANY pics of a buck I was certain was a solid 140. Put an arrow through him (on video) and he GROSSED 110. I didn't even recognize him at 7 yards.
He had a TINY body! Made his antlers look bigger than they were!

I see more than 8 points ...9 or a 10 point . That left side the brow tine is in line with the G2 ...I think . By just guessing 140 to 150 gross. Hard to tell mass while in velvet IMO . Very nice buck !

Judging bucks in velvet is a dangerous game. They always look so much bigger in velvet.

He is at least a 9-point. His has a small G4 on his left (on the right in the picture). In addition, he might have forked brows.

Good eyes guys. It does look like he has split brows as well.
We need the video really. I know a lot of people jump to guessing as low as possible because one time a deer had a tiny body, but to me it looks like a large bodied deer for TN
I tried to score judging out of velvet. I came up with 119.5". I'm probably off and wouldn't surprise me if it's more in the mid 120's. Nice buck no matter what.
It's a very difficult angle to judge. That said, without velvet, the way he stands today, he's 134-135". On a buck that size, I've learned to score them as they look and then subtract 8-10" for velvet, depending on my confidence level. He's definitely a 9-point with the possibility of a split brow, as BSK pointed out. In September, he will land in the upper 130s, IMO. The bad angle increases the margin of error considerably, which explains why the guessing is ranging about 25". He's definitely one to pursue this fall.

I DO hunt managed land, and I would still be tickled pink to shoot a buck like that!
We manage for age, but the average hunter doesn't understand how low the average score is for each age-class in TN, especially in hilly, hardwood habitat.
