Am thinking of changing my current scopes out between seasons here if possible and was wondering if anybody here used one drop compentors types such as the Redfield Accu Range or Leupold Ulitmate Slam or similar and how well u like it??

Currently have a mil dot on my Savage that I never have got around to playing with much.
Standard Plex on my Win. Apex. 45. Nothing wrong with either scope just an curious itch an upgrade on glass for both.

I have the nikon XR and while i did kill a deer at about 250y with it i hit lower than i was aiming. Killed 3 deer using 250g sst and 1 using 250g xtp.2 of the shots were high and also killed a yote that hit high. I have a seal coming out of the front and is is headed back to factory. I hope it will be back to shooting correctly by next season

yes i will have a range finder before next season. i think that it tested my limits with so few rounds thru my rifle and i will remedy that before next season. im not sure why my shots were high but after seeing somebody post about temp sensitive powders and point of impact raising im wondering if thats what was cause my shooting high in close and if it was i would have missed the long shot . scope will be pulled off today and shipped
