Hey guys, recently traded a gun for another that had a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 mounted on it. I am not a Bushnell guy at all but I know this is one of their higher end scopes. Any idea what the value is if I were to sell it? Thanks in advance.

Top condition $200. That was what it sold for new. It was an oddball due to the 3x range. The others were 4x, i.e.2.5-10x40. I would suggest keeping it. Its way better than the price. Made in Japan by Light Optics Works.

What jet said. I've got two of the exact scope. They are nice for the money.
I am not a huge fan of the eye relief on this one at 3.3" so I may drop it on a .22. I know it is plenty, I am just used to all of my other scopes at 4".

There are a lot of really nice scopes on the market in that $200 range that that USED Bushnell is going to have to compete with, I just don't see the value there myself, as a outsider looking in I think a more realistic price would be around $125

Well, to someone on EBay it was worth $230. Can't complain about getting that price for it.
