My awesome wife got me the rifle I have wanted since I was a teenager. I graduated with my master's in nursing as a nurse practitioner and she bought me a browning BAR safari grade with a BOSS in 300wm! I would like to keep it a classic look with a gloss scope. Suggestions on which one? I'm not a leapold fan as I like vortex but am open to any good quality scope. Also what mounts? Tally? Burris signature? What u guys think?

Can't say about the scope but I can sure congratulate you in the hard take of achieving your msn. Congrats.

I am a huge Vortex fan but if you want a gloss scope, I would go with Leupold.

VX -3i with a German #4 reticle would be sweet. Don't even know if th y make that but it would be awesome on that gun.

If you are wanting to keep it looking classic, you're gonna have a hard time with any of the newer scopes being made today.

Congrats on the new rifle. As far as a gloss scope I don't know who makes those these days besides Leupold.

Thanks guys! And no.... No doc program for me! I'm 31 and I am officially done with school (that's what I said last time too). Looks like a leapold it is. I will look into the vx3i

Good luck my friend!

Congrats !!!!

Don't overlook Nikon. They make a great scope. I own several and none have ever failed me in any way.

Redfield Revolution 4-12x40 with BDC. I have 7 of them and have never had any trouble. Have them on calibers from 308, 30-06, 300WM, 458WM, 25-06, 3x 45 cal Smokeless ML's, and Savage 220 slug gun.
