Scope broke

Was shooting my Excalibur Saturday evening trying to fine tune it. Went to adjust the scope and gonna take the cap off the side adjustment and the whole thing popped off the scope. I just kinda sat there wondering what just happened. So I ran inside and ordered one. Supposed to be here Friday. Hopefully it comes sooner or I may not be going on opening morning. At least it happened before I went. hehehe

I've had trouble like that at the last minute. One year my muzzle loader decided to start misfiring about 50%+ or the time right before opening day. I had it apart the night before modifying the hammer to fix the problem and didn't get it together until right at bedtime. A real nail biter for sure. Another time my shotgun crapped out on me a few days before dove season. Hopefully you'll get your scope a day early and get it set up.

What scope did you order? I am using a Nikon. I had issues with bolts. My new order should be Thursday.

When I bought it I got the package so it had the Vari-zone scope. That's the one that broke. I just ordered the shadow zone. It looks about the same except it has red and green lights or something like that from what I can tell. I was in such a rush trying to get one ordered that would be here on time. I hadn't looked at them in so long. I really liked the one that broke so I wanted to get one like it
