scope base question

I've been to several places and nobody has rimfire scope rings tall enough to clear a 40mm scope on my 917v and I refuse to own see thru rings.

My question is will weaver scope bases for a marlin 336 fit my 917v? The package says they will also fit a glenfield 30, 922M, 989, and 22 auto.

I have Millet rings on my 880SQ, holding a 40 mm scope. Look at Midway.

It appears the 254 or 261's are a popular style amoungst the 917v owners.

My 917V came with a Weaver style base in the box. Did you check all through there for a little brown envelope with base and screws in it?

Weaver bases are standard equipment with the gun, if not contact the the seller and get them.

I thought you were looking for the rings????

I am confused, if you have the weaver bases that came with the gun, and you have tons of rifle rings, what else do you need?????
