Scope adjustment issue?

I have a Japanese made Bushnell 6x that I have used on a Knight LK93 for years without any issue. I gave it to my neighbor and mounted it on his MK85 and I am running out of windage adjustment to the right. It's hitting 12 inches left at 50yards and the right adjustment is bottomed out. I've never had this happen before. The mounting holes and mounts look straight and true. Any ideas?

I've seen it happen when the reticle wasn't centered before sighting in. If you haven't done so already, click your windage and elevation all the way to one side. Now, click all the way back thru the adjustment range and count the clicks as you go. Now all you have to do is click half way back thru the clicks to center the reticle. You should now have maximum adjustability.
 
I'll try both of those out this afternoon. I was in a hurry when I mounted it, but I'm sure I didn't mount it with the windage on top.
 
Something is out of alignment. If it's not an alignment issue then perhaps the gun was dropped and the mounts or rings were bent slightly
 
Base and rings are Weaver steel. Man it looks straight, I see no bend at all. Maybe the scope just pooped out. Going to try one of mine on it as soon as I can find time.
 
I'm no gunsmith and this may be a dumb thing to suggest so I apologize in advance. But, sounds like the gross adjustment screws on the back rings are not centered. You have to start with a reticle that is centered as discussed above. Then, boresight using the base screws only until you can get close to center. Then adjust the scope reticle to fine tune. Even though reticles are self centering, you don't want your adjustment to end way over to one side.
