just read on it myself, watched a few youtube vids and i feel there is no doubt it works as O3 is not a new technology, however the DIY in me made me google a few things and found an O3 unit for $70 that with a drill bit and rubber insert i can use my old plastic tote bin i keep all my hunting clothes in and use the unit with it for over half the cost.

Theres the same ozone machine as the scent crusher on amazon for way less. I read a thread on archery talk about it. I think it's marketed for washing vegetables. Buy it and a duffle bag and you've got a scent crusher.

I have not tried it, but there are some good DIY solutions you can make to save some $$$.

This is my setup for home use. This ozone generating unit also works great for deodorizing your vehicle and home. I used it to recover from a pot of chili that burned all night on the stove and literally stunk up my entire house.

This is my setup for road use. I run it off a 12V outlet in the back of my Tahoe. It works very well. ScentLok now offers a small unit that runs on batteries, but it's pricey.

This is a pretty cool DIY project. However, I would not run the ozone generating unit 24/7/365 like he does. I destroyed a backpack by blasting it too often with ozone during the season. The elastic straps broke down and disintegrated from too much ozone exposure.

The thought that crossed my mind was would the ozone machine break down the strings on a bow because they are rubber? that could get sketchy real quick if that is the case.

I wondered the same thing. There is really no need to leave the generator running 24/7/365 like he does. All you need to do is turn it on an hour or so before you leave and that's plenty of time for the generator to deodorize your gear if it's got decent ozone output.
