That's a good deer. Good, quality pictures too. Do you like the covert cameras? I've never owned a covert.

I've been pleased with them, I had 3 on one farm I had listed and forgot about them, 2 still had battery life after
7 months, snow, rain and winter, with 4,000 to 7'000 pics each. I had this cam about 12" off the ground
I had just put in the micro plot in the background and it actually changed the deer travel into the
logging road about November to bedding area.

That's a lot of pics. Sounds like it gets good battery life. Thanks for the input.

I think the camera needs to be 2'' higher, tilted a little clockwise and not facing the sun....oh and a poster should be placed in the background of the gps coordinates of the camera....lol.....just kidding.....those are some great pics .....late season rut too huh?

FYI... I've got some 2015 Covert MP8 black cameras listed in the classifies... $115 shipped

Good pictures. I've not tried much to get pcitures over scrapes but need to do so in the future just for the fun of it. I do like what I hear about those cameras and their battery life. I can't imagine getting that much life from a battery. I get 4 to 6 weeks out of 4 C cell's in my main camera. 2 weeks at the very best from 4 C's in my other camera. And that's if it only takes a dozen pictures.

id be pissed if I only got a dozen pics out of a set of batteries...lol ....I usually get 12-1300 easy out of 8 double aa....in all my cameras....most of mine are cuddebacks and wildgame innovation cameras and im always pleased with their results....

I like trying different angles. The pisser is when you check the pics and find you set it up 2 or 3 inches too high or too low.

Mike as you can see this one was a little low
lol

But changing them around has added a new
interest for me, some I have are just for
road traffic. And running them on clients
land that don't hunt or have it leased and can't
get pics for listings, makes u want a change
