I planted 4 sawtooth oaks at the first of the year. They are doing well. I was stoked to see 2 of them bearing acorns already! The 2 with acorns hold 7 each. :grin: Not alot....but its a start.
mulch them with pine bark....keeps the ground wet around them. I also dig 5 holes in circumference and use a bulb auger to go 6 inches deep and fill it with 13-13-13 each spring. in the drip line. mine are still small, about 3 years old.
