Driving north on Hwy 58 in Chattanooga yesterday saw a decent 8 pt run across the highway. Not sure how in the world he did not get hit. Still holding both sides and definitely used up one of his lives!!

That's good to know. I got couple cameras out last weekend. Hope to get a few pics of some left.
I had one run out in front of me last week in southern Montgomery Co that was still carrying both sides of his rack while I passed on one during the last week of deer season because he'd already dropped one side of his rack. Then yesterday a small buck came into my backyard and proceeded to eat the remnants of the charred wood and charcoal in my fire pit. A look with the binoculars showed his antlers starting to protrude over the hairline.
