Leaving the house today, got on the pavement and see a deer disappearing off the side of the road a couple hundred yards ahead. Slow down real slow so I don't hit the next one, and out pops out what may be the biggest rack I've ever seen alive! He trots across the road at about 10yds and into the woods. Got a pretty good look, and it was a mainframe 12 with some added junk. Just plain a brute! My inner trophy hunter is still drooling  . He was about a mile as the crow flies from my place, so maybe...

I'm not at all experienced at scoring on the hoof especially in velvet, but looked easy 150" deer.

Whatever you do, do not drive the trace at night under a full moon. It will give you a heart attack.
I haven't seen any giants there yet but always tons of deer

Really?! I've only been here a couple years, but I've seen a LOT more deer this year. I live in the Coble area and most of the folks I know are saying the same thing, that deer numbers are up.

Seeing several does, usually by now we have seen or got on camera a couple of decent deer. So far nothing but yearlings. Time will tell
