2 days and 5 hogs later. Here's a few that the USDA and the state won't be spending $1000's on :super:

I would love to get a big but we don't have them out this way

I would love to see 20 deer every time I sit on a stand or have 10 gobblers gobbling every morning too, but it doesn't happen much here. Every part of the state has its unique perks. Ours is hogs

are those black and tans? nice pic and hogs

why are you not using gloves?

1 black and tan (not mine), the rest are Plott.

Didn't have any gloves with us. Forgot to take any. We normally have them

Sorry if these are dumb questions but are there a lot of hogs in catoosa. My wife and I were going to take a trip to Alabama this spring to try and hunt hogs. Would we have just as much luck at catoosa? Do we have to have any special permits? Do they have camping also?

You can't hunt hogs at catoosa in the spring. Only on the deer hunts or the 2 hog hunts in the fall/winter. Without dogs your not likely to see anything though. I would pick Alabama for still hunting
