I'm thinking about building a rifle using one of the Savage precision target actions. I was wondering if anyone has done a build on one the actions. THANKS for any info............

I have a savage lrpv that comes standard with the target action. The action is strong and rigid and with very tight tolerances. And the 6 oz trigger is crisp and breaks clean with zero creep!! I do know the savage target model F class Is placing high in competions and even a few wins against custom built guns costing four or five times as much. And for a factory built gun thats an amazing accomplishment.

I sure don`t think I`d be afraid of one at all. I know someone who built a 6BR on one, but it is to early to tell how it will do.

I'm with you guys, I've only heard amazing things from them....their QC as well as having their finger on the pulse of the American gunbuyer has advanced by leaps and bounds over the past few years.
