Where is the best place to get a good price on one of these highly debated muzzleloaders?
Thinking VERY seriously about getting one.

Would even consider a used one.
 
I ordered my last one from Bud's gun Shop in Paris Kentucky. Just google 'bud's gun shop' you can order. I gave 519 bucks shipped for the blued/ synthetic.(my 4th) Pretty good price. Midsouth is too high plus you'd have to pay TN tax. Also, R and R arms has them at a little better price ( a few bucks less) than Bud's. I ordered on Monday and had it on Wednesday. Good folks to deal with. Hope this helps.

I have two now. The blued/synthetic and the stainless/laminate (re-barreled with a .458 Pac Nor) I definitely wouldn't sell the laminate stainless. The blued synthetic.....if I got desperate for a new toy. Give my obsessive compulsive disorder a while to kick in and you may see it ( the blued one) up for sale. But I don't see it happening soon as i like to have a .50 cal in the arsenal of potential deer getters. If ya get one....you'll love it. If ya like fiddlin with reloading stuff and tweaking this and that..... The ML2 lends itself well to this type thing. Or...simply use book loads (43 grain IMR4759/ mmp sabot/ 250 or 300 sst) and hunt. Good luck and good shooting.
