Just kicking it around right now, but more seriously than last year.
The ML II, which is blued with synthetic stock.
$579.00 plus tax, brand new.
Is that a pretty good price, too high or just about right?

Bud's Gun Shop has that model for 549 shipped. No taxes since we live in TN. I've bought 3 from them. They can be trusted. And the price is about as good as you'll find, all things like shipping considered. And they are fast shippers....which my O.C.D. prefers. Hope this helps. Kevin

Dickson Sportsman Store had that one on sale for $499 last weekend, don't kow if it was a 1 time deal or if it's still on sale, but regular price was $549, of course you have to pay tax on top of that, but you get to play touchy, feely with it before you buy it. If the owner, Rick, is there, it's a great place to shop, if he's not, I won't buy anything in there!

For $630 plus Ky sales tax, Whittaker's in Owensboro has the stainless, and real pretty wood stock. It is beautiful. If you've never been to Whittaker's, it is worth the trip. Largest firearms dealer in KY, and they're out on the floor, all the guns, you can touchy, feely without having to have somebody handing them to you. Awesome place. I'd like to make the trip again myself.

It is amazing how much these guns have went up. When I bought mine in 2000 (I think), I bought a pound of powder, a box of bullets, 2 packs of MMP Sabots, 209 primers, and the stainless ML II out the door for 468 and change. It was the best money I ever spent.

The 1'st ML 2's didn't have the accutrigger and when they added that, the older ones were "on sale". My gunsmith guy tried to get me to buy one, probably black/blue, I don't remember, but he could sell me one for about $275. I didn't buy it, big mistake.
