Hope you don't blow yourself up, smokeless in a muzzleloader, that is crazy talk.

Just trying to get you used to the naysayers, you'll hear it all, but will soon discover what all the fuss is about. Never look back, I'm not.

Yeah,i am a little worried about the smokeless powder, but I will stay far away from the max load recommended.

Get a $25 digital scale and WEIGH your powder! That's my #1 advice to you, weigh your charges.

Can you recommend a good set of digital scales that i can have confidence in without breaking the bank? Just curious, why steel rings and not aluminum?

they are ugly as sin as heavy as a bale of alfalfa hay. the checkering is horrible and the fit finish looks like it was done by a high school shop with adhd. but they are smokeless and shoot straight and you dont have to clean them.

Smart Reloader scale at midsouthshooters is $19.99, it works just fine, I used one for over a year before I bought my Hornady auto-loader, I'm lazy.

I 2'nd the steel rings, they're just stronger, I use Leupold quick release myself. I wouldn't do aluminum.

Have you visited Doug's Board? If not, I'd do that as my FIRST step.

I'm hoping Knight will build a smokeless model soon.

Knight and all other manufacturers have had 11 years+ to come to market with a smokeless muzzle loader.

Aint gonna happen.
