I've heard they shoot good.

Hard to modify or customize, no accessories available that I know of. (stocks, etc.)

Kinda as is.

What I've seen, I like the Stevens 200 much better!

I picked up a Stevens 200 .30-06 w/ Bushnell scope for $299 out the door last year. I wasn't sure I liked it at first but the more I have read about it the more I am comfortable I got the better end of the deal (Just remember it's a Jeep not a Cadillac). Only a couple of things that I am going to change in the future. Looking at a Ross Varmint Thumb-hole stock and a Timney trigger. About another $200.00 and I'll have made all the changes I want to make.

i have one. its shoots great . the trigger was stiff so i sent it to my gunsmith and after 10.00 trigger job ,butter smooth. now for a leupold vx3 or zeiss on top. the stock feels good.

I adjusted the trigger on mine, relatively simple process but I guarantee that it isn't butter smooth, but it is a lot better. The only issue that really have is the kick. I've heard of guys putting bags of shot in the stock to absorb some of the recoil.
