I bought some Sauls acorns from a guy in Georgia on QDMA site.I was wondering here if anyone just goes in the woods and puts acorns in the ground? If I don't plant these until after deer season, will they be ok in the refrigerator this long or should I just keep them outside in a bag? Should I just try to put all these in pots now about 2 " deep?

if it were me, I would put them in a sandwich bag or freezer back containing peat moss (slightly moist, not soggy), then put them in the fridge until March. Then I would plant them each in a 2 or 3 gallon pot and put outside or in a garage under a light. Keep moist but not wet. Then next Fall transplant them to final destination. This is the way I did my Chestnuts.
