Yesterday morning was not disappointing. Had an eight pt chase doe past me twice, but he was a blur both times, then a six pt wandered through. A few minutes after that this guy snuck in behind me a 20 yds.

Thanks! Well he's a 7pt, but deserved 8. I should have took time to hang my scale. Ive dragged alot of old bucks, but this one whipped me and had to call for re-enforcements. I guess 180 dressed, my help said closer to 200.

I started another thread on him. I think he had an injury that caused that. Hole in his skull on that side.

Yeah he was a beautiful deer at 20 yds with nothing between us. I saw instantly he was an old bull. I havent killed a buck on this property since 2007 and he's not book material, but I knew soon as I saw him I wanted him.
