I should know this but I don't. When the TWRA mentions tags, do they actually mean tags they send to you or are the tags mentioned just the sheet of paper that you print out when you are successful in the draw? I've got the # needed for passing the test, where do you write that number down?

Honestly, last year I just had a screenshot of my tags and the confirmation number digitally scrawled on it. Never shot a bird so didn't come down to it.

But no, they didn't mail anything.

I didn't know if it would be like the old days of goose hunting when they sent you a pressure sensitive tag to wrap around a leg or neck.

My first draw for sandhills was in 2018, and I never received anything in the mail back then. Every time I got drawn, I printed off two copies of my award permit, wrote my ID Test confirmation number on each one, and zip tied them to each bird.
