Bout how long does it take for them to announce if you drew?
Mine still has the Status as Eligibile
But Award Permit: N/A
I assume that means I'm not out of the race yet. Although I don't expect to get drawn.
The first year I attempted I was drawn. Haven't been drawn since though.
Just found out that I didn't get drawn.Bout how long does it take for them to announce if you drew?
Just got my stamp of…. denial. That's where mine sits. We have 4 hunters in our party. (3) at 1-point, one first timer with no points. So our average will be 0.75 priority points. I expect next year to be successful ,not this year. But hopefully I get an email later today with some good news.
I remember going to one of the early in-person drawings and there were 500 (?) Permits and 501 applicants. The only one who didn't get drawn was a kid. Since it was a federal permit, TWRA couldn't give any slack and issue an extra permit, but they did let someone forfeit theirs and give it to the kid. If I remeber right, one of the outfitters or sponsors there rewarded the guy for giving up the tags. Man, that was a long time ago.I sure do miss the good ol days of the in-person drawing. You were almost guaranteed to get drawn.
Unsuccessful
Hell I thought I applied but I see no record. I blame Chimneyman for bringing moonshine that nightI was successful with 1 priority point. Son applied separately from me he was unsuccessful with 1 priority point

You might not be wrong. The first time I filled it out, it apparently didn't go through. I didn't get a confirmation email. I filled it out a second time a couple days later and got a confirmation.I was pissed and kept refreshing my email while my group was posting their results. Two were successful. I finally went in and checked the app only to realize I didn't even apply lol. I was positive I did, but I guess not.
