Same deer? Age guess?

Does this look like the same deer to you? The first pic is from this year and the 2nd is last year. And how old do you think he is?

I don't think it's the same deer but it very well could be.

I really need more pics from both years to make a better guess.

Just based on these two pics, my best guess is these are different bucks. There's a fair chance they are the same buck, particularly if this buck was 1 1/2 last year and 2 1/2 this year, since going from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 is the 1 year change when it's hardest to identify a same buck.

Do you have any side-view pics of these bucks from last year and this year?

More pics would sure help. Helps too if you can pick up on identifying features, things like double white throat patch, solid black under muzzle/chin, other unique characteristics. Hard to say if it is the same deer.

Would guess the first to be a 2.5 possibly 3.5. Second a 1.5 year old.

This is the only other pic I have of the 1st one. I'll have to dig through some files to see if I have any other pics.

They both look like two year olds. If last years buck was only a yearling, I would expect a bigger bounce in antler from last year to this, with that much horn as a yearling.
