Anyone ever try these for crappie or catfish? Just curious if they are effective.

I have tried them without much luck but then again nothing else worked that day either.
They did not hold on the hook any better than regular dead or live minnows.

I tried for fun once. Caught some catfish but about the same amount as frozen and thawed cut bait or live bluegill. Never have tried them for crappie.
