SALSA using home canned tomatos??

Any of you ever used home canned tomatoes to make Salsa? I have a bunch of pint and quart jars from my Mom just trying to figure out how to use them.

We've never used home-canned tomatoes, but I'm sure it would be 100 x's better than the grocery store canned stuff we've successfully used in the past

Well I guess more specifics. I have a bunch of home canned tomatoes I would use those to make a big batch of salsa and re-can any one of you done that? Most salsa canning videos etc start with fresh tomatoes. I think it would work as its all going in a food processor first then cooked some then canned. Just thought I would ask here.

The texture won't be there, but there should be enough acidity to can again using a hot water bath.
